Hi all, just had a very enjoyable 16 day's going up to Ripon from SYBC at Heck.The wind was a bit nippy at times but on the whole not bad at all. Managed to share the lock at Naburn with a seal of all thing's. Seems he came up from the Humber a few weeks ago and as got a taste for Trout on the weir. Apart from Boroughbridge at Easter weekend it was very very quiet, in fact coming back from Ripon to Naburn and down to Selby we only saw 1 boat moving in any direction???. Old Jacob the 27 ran faultless and achieved 14 mpg out of the Honda 15 at 5-6 mph, another thing i and other folk like is that being a centre cockpit you can just clip onto 1 ladder or cable and it hold's the boat fine without leaving the cockpit.
