FFS... Words cannot express how angry that makes me..... I know I would be beyond gutted if that had happened to me....
I hope you can pick up the pieces and get back on the water in another boat soon....

So sad to see after all your hard work, take it you are all ok ? Was it petrol or gas.
Edit, see by the post title it was arson, good grief could have been someone on board |

Thanks for your replies, just can't believe peoples mentality.
luckily no one's hurt, that's about the only good thing going, but it could of been worse as next to the boat was my discovery as its lpg powered and full of gas, would probably of lost the house, thankfully the fire brigade were quick, still took them half an hour to get it out, so fair bit of damage to the car and house and the neighbours phone lines. We all got a bit panicky when we realised the flares were on board, it was packed and ready to go on the water this weekend.

I've tried to find a word for it, but I can't. Our 23 is on a marina fairly close to you (Ashwood, nr. Stourbridge), and if it will help to ease your pain you're welome to join us for a cruise or two over the weekend. Don't let the bastrads grind you down, Jud.

I'm sure it is of little help due to our locations, but if you are around the A1 area of Cambridgeshire, give me a shout and if i'm around, you are also welcome to a pootle on my boat too.....

Condolences again Chris, but if you've still got that canopy one of my neighbours needs one for his boat as somebody decorated his with a tin of spray paint while he was out and it won't come off. You couldn't make it up. Jud. |
