Still not sorted them all out, but heres a few pics from this years manic trip.

Quality not as good as off the phone due to battery probs on the camera!

Approaching Gunthorpe - River Trent

Gainsborough , Tidal Trent

Approaching the M180

Keadby

Ferrybridge

Approaching Castleford

Chez with the dreaded 'Handspike'

Tuel Lane lock - 27ft deep !

Hebden Bridge - Err may be of interest to some on the forum (Easier to catch?)

Summit of the Rochdale

Was it such a short trip from Sowerby ? Surely not.....

Despite the Weather - Stunning oop ere !

We flooded pound after pound on the way down to Manchester - Due to blocked bywashes ,would have been worse if Chez had'nt been ahead opening paddles.

Leaving Manchester via the Ashton

Peak Forest, coming over Marple Aquaduct

Peak Forest - Marple flight

Sneaking up the Huddersfield Narrow without telling Chez ! (Ran out of Beer , ASDA Awaits!)

Mill that was the origins of Hovis Flour

Mow Cop in the distance on the 'Macc'

Norman 25 on the Macc.

Coming into Harecastle

Bottle Kilns in Stoke

Bagnal Lock , These T&M Bridges are my favorite!

River Section at Alrewas T&M - Now we believe we can make it home !

The Final & also the first lock

Total Mileage 324 miles 250 locks (Inc flood locks) & lots of swing/lift bridges !A
All accomplished In 17 Days (I believe that this may be the final crazy mission ! - Although shorter & less locks than we have done in the same time it's gotta be the hardest !)

Adi

Sewer Tubes ? I'd rather have a D**ncr*ft (Only Kidding)

We never doubted you'd do it, looks like a good trip but 250 locks too many for my liking.

Fair play Adi, that's some going, well done.

Love the water colour at Harecastle tunnel, looks like something out of Willy Wonka
