After this years manic trip , I decided to look back over our 'bigger' trips since we bought our 22 in 2003 most were a 2 week trip plus the odd Bank Hol (Normally 17 day max)

Summery of those are as follows ;

2004 Leicester ring 150 miles 101 locks
2005 Four counties ring 228 miles 168 locks
2006 Llangollen including Weaver & Anderton 341miles 248 locks
2007 Birmingham / Seven & GU 240 miles 299 locks
2008 Aborted London back via Lincoln 412 miles 225 locks
2009 Llangollen 317 miles 210 locks
2010 River Thames (Inc Tidal) 342locks 214 locks (Via Sewer Tube )
2011 Boston 233 miles 56 locks (9 day trip)
2012 Rochdale via Trent 324 miles 250 locks

Total 2587 miles 1771 locks

Of course this doesn't include the countless trips to Trent Lock/Shardlow , Foxton , Newark , Alrewas etc , cant imagine how many extra miles & locks these account for but prob well over half the above !

Maybe its time to cool it down ......

Naww....... Still got to cruise the Avon & other navigations !!!

Adi (Currently looking over his shoulder in case Chez is watching!!)

Sewer Tubes ? I'd rather have a D**ncr*ft (Only Kidding)

Thats some going Adi! And on those trips how many bigger and posher boats did you pass that rarely move anywhere (loads I'll bet).
Ever considered the trip down to hull, if the weather and tide is right it's been done in smaller craft and you can add trent falls to your list.
