All I can say is 'respect'! What a journey! I've only done half the Rochdale to the summit. The other half wasn't open. We hope to go over next year. The route is in the very early planning stages but we would like to do the Rochdale, then along the Bridgewater canal, down the T&M to Middlewich and then along the Llangollen canal!
One thing, what time did you have to set off in the morning to achieve your daily miles?
Cheers, Kev |

To be fair we did some long days , some 12hrs plus !!!
Although we had short days to Torksey , also on the run down from the summit with the couple we met 'Oop top' where we were limited by the booked passage thru Manchester.
Not sure where your based ? let me know & I'll tell you if you're as crazy as us !!! (Have done the run to Llangollen a few times so can prob advise timewise)
Cheers

We would have to stagger the journey because we are up in North Yorkshire. I'm thinking of July down to Sowerby Bridge. Then in August/September I have 3 weeks for the trip to Llangollen.
All depends on getting a temp mooring, weather, and closures and if the Llangollen is busy in summer (which it will be). Might be a bit "pie in the sky" but you have to dream.
