Just passed my BSS cert for my refurbed Norman 20 and i had a lengthy discussion with the examiner regarding fuel containers for the outboard. Whilst i haven't fitted a motor yet it was an interesting subject as to where you put the supply tank. The first and obvious answer is in the boat on the floor under the transom, but there isn't a lot of height for a Jerry can or similar.
I would be interested to know how people get around this. Is there a more suitable container? any photos would be useful.
My fuel tank on my 20 is under the locker hatch on the rear port side. If more fuel is needed the same locker easily caters for 2x5ltr cans. That gives me around 22lts enough for 15 hours river plodding on my 9.9 Mariner.
