Hi all

Can anyone help please

I want to tap into the Yanmar 2GM20-2.2DL engine cooling system to run a simple towel heater and radiator. The engine has a tank near the top that draws in river water and then sends it to the exhaust. The other connections seem to be a large dia hoze (maybe about inch and half) going directly into the top of the engine from this box and a smaller pipe (maybe about 1/2")going into the engine at the back of the pulley on the front.

Can any one suggest where I should tap into these piles to make my radiator connection?

Thanks

Try these links from Tony Brooks. They will at least map out the system for you.

This second link does have a diagram showing where a calorifier would sit. You could substitute your heated rail for this.
