I'd like to think that the perpetrators were unruffled salty sea dogs who just shrugged and got back on board with a simple "That'll be reet".

The only wells disaster this time was finding all pubs and chippies had shut for the sodding footie, stupid blood game anyway!
Looked at windguru next morning to see weather window closing so made a hasty retreat back to broads with gt.ouse friends for a week on the lash.
They ran back to wells this morning and we headed for southwold.
Tried for a beer in harbour in and they'd stopped taking walkins, headed for the red lion and while drinking overheard that the other pubs were closing early to rearrange tables, got a booking tonight at red lion so that was lucky...
It helps when you get to the pub door and know the staff's names...
