You can usually date the boat by the glass, it usually has the date and the glass makers name in the corner. When I bought my Norman 23 it was marketed as built in 1980, but all the glass is dated 1982. John

The bit to remember is a lot of normans were sold as bare hull or kit form so the hull may be older than other fittings, the number in the bow (if it is still there) is the best guide to hull age.

I know its an old topic but wondered if it had been solved yet ?? I was having root around in my bankside locker last week, and came across a pair of the Norman badges (the Knight with the name Norman) which I got via this site, from Adi's dad several years ago, but never got round to fitting them,so am willing to LOAN one out to use as a template if anyone has the means to cast or 3d copy it.

If anyone takes this on, I'd be interested in getting a pair.
