| The target should be to get a 3D scan of one. Once you have one of those it is easy to share online and/or go to various companies to get prices for 3D printing them and you'll have a choice of materials and price points. |

Just back from Sowerby Bridge yesterday so a bit late with the post,. I have the original badges on my Norman 27. They are pinned on otherwise i would post to anyone wanting to make em. Any one who is capable and can get to SYBC at Heck are welcome to try with the moulding etc. Coffee and a bun thrown in. Ps Trevork we went up through Lemonroyd Sunday night, first time for me but not the last.

That's a great offer, and thank you! I could get to Sowerby Bridge no problem as its not too far away. Unsure if I have the skills to make a mould and then a half decent badge from the resulting mould though...hmmm |

| I have a couple of the ones cast by Adi's Dad, The definition is not quite as sharp as the originals but I'm sure would serve as a pattern. Why has it taken me so long to say so?? Because they are squat somewhere and I have yet to find the b*ggers! |

There are firms that will make badges. I came across Premier Badges. Don’t know about the cost, a good example of the badge would probably be needed for a quote.

Yes Wal, I have got it, to be honest I have so much to update on the web site I am trying to sort out a day when I can set to and get on with it. I will! I can say that the last Normans to be built were back in 1980/82. So 1991? Someone is telling you porkies. If you look right up inside the bows on the bare GRP you should be able to find some hand written figures. If you can find them tell us and we will be able to tell you the year. |

The fire was in 1982 and Norman finally ceased trading shortly after that. I just noticed the reference to 1997! I think that must be a mistake as Ernie Wheeldon died in 1997. Back in the day I copied and pasted from emails from Graham and There must have been some sort of error at that time. I didn't have a bona fide proof reader! What is the name of your Bourne 40 Wal? I had a Bourne 35 until I downsized to a Hampton Safari. Occasionally regret this but only fleetingly! |
