Whilst scrubbing the mould off the ceiling of my Norman 22 project I noticed, apart from water dripping out of a light fitting, five rows of screw heads. What happens if I remove these screws to tackle the water ingress?
I am unfamiliar with the construction of this boat and am new to this refurbishment lark. Generally I find it very time consuming for very little progress and very expensive
All and any advice is very welcome.

If your deckhead is shiny then it is an internal lining, the screws presumably holding it up? In which case they are NOT your problem which is almost certainly rainwater getting in from on top - mast, light, grab-rails etc on the coach-roof.

You need to re-bed those and anything else that has fixings that penetrate the coach roof like possibly the windscreen.

Finally living the dream!
