Oxalic acid is cheap and brilliant for cleaning the hull but keep it away from metal fittings. (and your skin!)Comes as a powder like sugar, dissolve in hot water, can mix with wallpaper paste to make a gel that stays wet longer, brush on, leave, rinse off.
