Going back to 1963/1964. It was smallish, had the usual two front berths that probably converted to a double, although I have no memory of that - the boat was mostly used for day trips and we only went away in it once, from the Bridgewater canal down to Tewkesbury and back.
Then, coming back towards the cabin door, I recall a squarish "worktop" on which we had a methylated spirits stove and opposite this, a lidded box in which there was an elsan. Next were the entrances, on either side of the cabin door, to two "coffin" berths which extended out into the cockpit where they were bench seats.
It wasn't a Dawncraft Dandy, of that I'm certain, as I don't recall the cathedral hull - it was definitely a hull like a Norman 20 and had similar front windows - what I call "sad" windows - but don't think the frames were as thick, and the windscreen was different - slightly surved over the top, no wiper and all one piece.
Can anyone help me to identify this boat? We lived near Oldham, so chances of it being a Norman are quite high, but I haven't recognised it from the ones shown on this site. Ladyline seems a very familiar name but as I started to hire boats in 1968, it's possible Ladyline had branched out into hiring?
Thanks in advance if anyone can help. I *have* ( a very long shot) tried Googling the boat's name but no joy!

Ladyline used to be main dealers for Callumcraft, then Norman,I remember that.
Other 60's makes - CB boats of Tollesbury, Microplas, Teal, Vangard, Shetland, Coronet, Dolphin, Dawncraft, Nauticus, I.P (Island Plastics), Freeman.

I guess there were numerous GRP boats being made around that time. Hoping to get a photo to post sometime soon. Thanks for the contributions so far. Fairline plans don't seem to show coffin bunks. found one online which seemed very similar:

That's a CB18 later model, earlier models had tumblehome aft that proved unstable at high speed turns as the aft chine dug in causing unacceptable angles of heel that could lead to a high speed capsize.
Hull by CB boats of Tollesbury, Essex.
