A friend and I recently forked out £500 to the local council for an unclaimed Norman 32. I understand that it has previously sunk twice, but was recently recovered. Fools that we are, we are trying to get the poor old thing back to a decent and usable condition. So far, it's turning out not too badly. The interior, however, is a shambles of rotten and warped wood and fittings and I wondered if anyone out there had a 32 which I and my foolish friend could look at; specifically to see how the interior is laid out. I'm based near Huntingdon, Cambs and can be called on 07902407720 or emailed here and/or geezed57@gmail.com. Many thanks in anticipation of any assistance.

I have a 32. I stripped it totally including the engine. After 3 years I have about another 6 months work to complete it. It is absolutely unique. All timber is ceder brand new Kubota diesel engine even air conditioning. If you ever want to part with yours I would be interested.
Look in the forum for making progress and you will see pics of my 32

Thanks guys. As a pair of semi-retired (or is that retarded) geezers, we are...er...living the dream. No intentions to part with her as yet. Will try and keep you all posted as to progress.

hi Gianni
I rebuilt a Norman 23 that we have since sold but I have loads of pictures of the interior and the outside which are very similar to the front cabin and cockpit of the 32 if you want them I can email some over. I remember seeing that boat if it is the one from Paxton pits as we live in Little Paxton when we cruised through the pits.
the shell looked in good condition but I can imagine what the inside must have been like. let me know about the pictures I am only too glad to help.

Hi Sonny,
Yes, was originally moored at Paxton Pits and as you say, the shell seems to be fine. Any photos would be extremely useful to me. Email to geezed57@gmail.com. Thanks very much
