Did have a potential viewing this weekend but he said via a second email his max price if he came down would be around £2500 inc trailer which is all they are worth. Maybe i'm asking too much but the outboard with fitting was nearly that price.

It sounds daft but don't mention it's a Norman and then it's harder for people to compare the price with other boats.

Only problem is if you don't put a manufacture in an online sales site nobody would find it on a site search.

There is a 20 on e bay, not as nice as yours for £3750 classified, Yours has the benefit of a new engine though so I don't think you are overpriced. Most people try to sell a boat with photos of the boat static, tied up. You will get a better response to a ad if you have some photos of the boat in motion.

That's a good thought Lester, all my photos are static or taken from the boat will have to get some sorted, found one but kinda doesn't do the boat justice

You're right unless you were selling the flag. You need one where the boat is pushing water. Then when you get a viewing and give them a little trip on the water its as good as sold.

I saw Knighty's boat close up a couple of years back when I was newish to boating and Normans, in fact I relieved him of his old engine.
I honestly thought the whole boat was only a couple of years old then, it is stunning. In fact it became a standard to aim for whilst I restored Gladys-May a 79 Conquest I purchased for a grand and after 2 years restoring it subsequently sold whilst on holiday in it for 3.8k with a basic trailer.
I reckon yours is worth every penny of your asking price Knighty.
You may want to try a For Sale c/w trailerad. in the side windows I found that got a lot of attention at locks and moorings on my trip so much so that I ended up cruising back home on someone elses boat for the last 3 days of my holiday.
Good luck with the sale.

Hi Ken good to hear from you, thanks for the nice comments. I am in bit of a quandary about selling but have really taken the boat as far as I can, need something that wants a little work as love prob as much working on them as going out on the river and after this winter all the boat wanted was a new brass catch, antifoul and a polish, less than a short days work.
Having a second viewing on a Freeman 23 tomorrow with the wife, had a lot spent on it but needs tlc.

May not happen on the boat we have looked at, he says he is advertising farther afield now to get a better price. Don't know if the survey request put him off.

freemans tend to throw up osmosis on a survey. not unusual though.
