When I re-wire my boat I plan to use 25mm cable from the battery to the isolator and 1.5mm 2 core from the main switch panel to the pump, lights, 12v sockets etc but what size cable should I use from the isolator to the switch panel? I cant seem to find any info on this.

A big enough current ratting to cary the full load of your lights, pump ect.... plus a bit for safety.

You can't over spec a cable. The bigger the better (with practical reason).

Are you fusing at the battery end, or on the switch panel??

Would you think this is sufficient? 65/0.30mm, 4.5mm2, 35amp. I really know nothing about electrics.

It will run probably 4 or 5 led strips, maybe a bilge pump, navigation lights and 3 or 4 12v sockets.

The switchboard has individual fuses already fitted.

I've done this diagram of how I think the wiring should go but I'm really not sure about electrickery. Can anyone confirm if I've got it right please? The switch panel has a seperate fuse for each switch.
