Its my first winter with a boat and I have it on a trailer on my driveway, Ime looking at putting a dehumidifier in for the winter on a timer, can any one recommend one please.
I can't recommend one specifically, but a good plan is to block all vents so you don't end up dehumidifying the whole neighbourhood. This makes it far more effective and costs less to run.
I have been using disposable ones from pound land, my thought was, as I am an old skinflint, just to empty them when full and dry out the crystals.
I put 4 in and they fill up every 3 months or so, I haven't blocked the vents and surprisingly dry as a bone, what I have also done is to make up covers for the exterior of the two side windows to stop rain getting in which seems to be the main cause of damp!!
