Since the relaunch I've covered a little over 100 miles in G-M a mix of day trips up to 3 days away. Been very relaxing and good fun pubs on the upper Thames have been well tested! Sunday sees the sart of a 2 week trip down to Windsor and back so any sightings dont be forward in comming over for a chat. A couple of pics G-M topless, from a week or so ago when I went overnight to Radcot.

And Radcot is where the trouble started! A 'friend' pointed out another boat that was in a sorry state and the owner was looking to sell a 1973 Freeman 22 Mk2 and I err bought it, hopefully as a step towards a 27 foot centre cockpit Norman (future project #3?). So back to square one and out with all the tools and more blood sweat and tears no doubt to follow. I've only got the one mooring so, feeling a right cad I'm putting Gladys-May up for sale lock stock and bow fender. Cant quite believe I'm doing it! £3.6k including a breakback single axle 'field' trailer for over wintering on. May be able to deliver. For pictures look up Rebuild Gladys-May and or Gladys-May Re-launch in the forum search box. I'm going to put a couple of For Sale signs in the window during the 2 week trip but if anyone here is genuinely interested e-mail me and I will contact you either wherever I can get on the internet or on my return. Hope to see some of you on the trip. |
