hoping in the next couple of weeks to start rubbing down the hull on our boat.it has been hand painted ever badly.question is what gauge wet & dry paper will i need to use to prepare the hull for repainting.

Personally I would not attempt by hand with Wet n Dry !!!! It will take for ever & will not be the best job !

Buy a cheapish DA Sander & use that .

Depending on how bad the paint is will depend on the Grit of pad (& Also the heaviness of the operator !!!!!)
