Hi everyone, I have a Honda 100 10hp manual pull start on my Norman 23, does anyone know if it is posiable to convert it to electric start, and if so how and what I would need etc? I hate keep pulling the cord, right pain. Also, I have a windscreen wiper motor fixed which has wires comming from it, but can't see where the wires go to and there is no switch for it anywhere, have connected it up and the motor seems to work ok, so will fit a switch and wire it into that. Question is there isn't a wiper arm on it, anyone know where I can get a wiper arm from? And last thing, anyone know where I can get a Norman badge, mine has broken in 3 places and the last bit is lost? Cheers Mike |

Pull start to electric is probably only viable if you can find a knackered electric start motor to get the bits from, buying seperately would be uneconomical, if the wiper motor is a regular boat one you can get the arms from chandlers(a plain shaft about 6mm diameter), you will need fixed + & - and switched + to get self parking mode.

Thanks df, looks like I'll just have to put up with a manual start (cheaper then going to the Gym Guess the best thing would be to sell my engine, then by a second hand electric start? I'm not bothered about the wiper self parking, just wasen't sure on what arm and blade size to get etc, someone selling this on fleeBay, don't know if this would do?

Wiper arms usually have some length adjustment.
