Hi Everyone, I'm new to boating (caravan and motorhome person) I have just bought a Norman 23 over Easter, which tanks to the last owner has a hot water system and shower (lovely)
On the documents it says it was built in 1979, how can I tell if it's a Mark 1 or a mark 2, it has the little opening hatch at the front.
Also front windows have duct tape around them, so I guess the rubbers need changing, look hard on all the windows.
Horn isn't working either, and no windscreen wiper, but looks like some sort of wiper motor, and one last thing (as columbo used to say) The engine is a Honda 100 10hp, manual start Grrrrrrr, can this be converted to electric start, and how much and easy would it be???
Thanks everyone.
Mike

A horn is fairly cheap to replace if necessary but have a check around the wiring, things come loose. My horn has a tendancy to spin and loses its tone as it does and can stop making a tone altogether.
The wipers are usually something like a mini wiper probably better to pop your head over the windscreen as they`re usually not much use.
I like to have everything working though so it would pester me.
A new wiper will push or bolt on if the motor is working.
The Honda will be able to be adapted i`m sure but at cost, worth it though.
Someone will have a Honda 100 on here i`m sure.

By looking right up inside the bows under all the coverings on the bare GRP. See if there are any hand written figures which will tell you the age, model and mould number.
