My rubber rubbing strake strip which goes all the way along the top of the hull of the boat is about two inches thick from top to bottom. There is a one inch cut at the front from the top which has formed a v shape. Is there any way I can repair the cut without having to replace the whole strip?

There is a glue called serious glue by evo-stick. It sets like a hard silicon I have not used it yet bit my neighbor swears by it. It bonds most things including rubber
Did mine (After a clought with the old guillotine gate exiting the Stratford cut - Too busy photographing!) with ADHESEAL (Innotec?)_again a black mastic (Car body adhesive I believe) not cheap at £15-20 a tube (Mastic gun) but one hell of a material - Have bonded things with this that may never move again !!
