Hi all boaters. Have been down to my 20 today and the rain has been coming in from the windows! have taken everything out to dry out but any advise on sealing the rubber surrounds would be very welcome? Many thanks. Alan.
There is a lot of advice on sealing windows in previous posts. Just type "window seal" in to the search function (in the top right hand corner of the page)
Hi alanlymm, I have a norman 20 which all windows have been removed and replaced with new seals, being a glazzing fitter for 20 plus years working for autoglass it was no problem!. But, and we always have a but in life when it comes to boats lol ha ha,your side windows which slide will have a aluminum strip on in side of boat with about 6/8 self tappers the water will leak in the screw holes nothing you can do!the angle of the window frame sat in boat allows water to sit in channel. 5 other 20s at my moorings all same, 1 chapp has filled channel up on inside so glass will no long slide NO Water leaking in this is my next job in the spring!!
