At the moment I've left my boat in the water. I'm taking it day by day and will have it trailered out upon the cold weather arriving.
I am currently running two small low wattage heaters and an electric dehumidifier on a timer at present but I reckon it'll cost a fortune over the winter.
The guys at the marina reckon that the outboard will be fine once the boat is out of the water without any further winterising.
What do you guys do over the winter, especially with your outboards?
IS there any way it could stay in the water without a dnager of my outboard being destroyed with frost/freezing?

I've had boats frozen in before with no outboard damage, I wouldn't worry too much about it, you can always tilt it up when not using it. Domestic water tanks and heaters are more at risk. I've never used heaters or dehumidifiers over winter.
I leave mine in with the leg down. I don`t think it could get worse than last year and mine was fine. Just don`t run it if the leg is frozen solid. My boat is left without heating but taps are drained and the tank water level is lowered for expansion. Paloma water heaters aren`t fond of frost, mines ay home already. It`s a quick and easy task to take the water heater off ehen refit about March
I second that advice about Palomas! The first year I had one a drop of water remained in it and of course it froze, which left my plumber with a tricky soldering job in the spring! Now I connect a short length of hose to the inlet and BLOW, HARD, until I get those little blue dancing lights in front of my eyes. That clears it OK!!
I left my boat with an oil filled rad connected to a thermostat set to 4 degrees last year and used less than £6 of shore power (all year). Annoying as the minimum charger was £10 ... i was done out of £4!!!!!! As a Yorkshireman that hurts!!!!
