I,m doing some research into the best way to paint the hull of my conquest. Looking at the many excellent videos on utube on how to apply paint, I notice that some apply the roller up and down and tip horizontally and others do it the other way round. Anyone tried it and if so, which is best? Also, does anyone know of complete diy window sets on the market?

I found that rollering it on any which way and not tipping off gave the best result. I guess it depends on the paint and the temperature. I was working on quite a warm day.

ah...guess I'll experiment with all three methods then, this could prove interesting planning on three coats of undercoat and two topcoats (international one pack toplac)
