Just a couple of questions if anybody knows the answers
Norman 27 If you look at the brochures it specifically says engines are outboard, sterndrive or inboard, and if you look carefully at the plans it appears to show two positions for the engine, one under the cockpit and one in the aft cabin. As the quality is not great when you blow it up its hard to tell but it appears to say inboard engine under the cockpit and inboard/outdrive in the aft cabin. My question is, has anybody ever seen or heard of a Norman 27 with an inboard engine and shaft drive?
Also the Norman 27 appears to be a 24 with an aft cabin does anybody know why it was not suitable for coastal. Lighter layup, thinner windows, or just by the 80's litigation was begining to kick in and Norman were being cautious?.
These are just questions because I am curious, I am not sugesting that anybody takes a Norman 27 out to sea
