Ahoy Norman clan! I have recently found out that my Norman is not worth as much as I thought and is now up for grabs at a starting price of 2k-4k. All bids welcome but only serious offers. Needs alot of work to interior;mainly a good clean and tidy up, the rubbing straits and canopy for centre cabin need replacing, the engine is in good condition and has recently been serviced-the zdrive is stuck in reverse but cables can be tweaked to adjust. Would be a good project for someone who has the time and space for hard standing. I would like to apologise for my naivity on its value before but I have had an engineer look at it and followed his advice. The boat is currently moored at enfeild docks, London and can be viewed any time this week after which time it will be moved to another location on the river lea.It is insured, licensed and has its boat safety till 2013.

You may well be right there.
It's going to need a lot of money spending, the wood for the rubbing strakes could well be a couple of hundred, the canopy will be around £500, who knows what it may cost to sort the drive. They can be frighteningly expensive if it needs parts. The interior may require wiring and water systems, I guess from the general condition of the rest of the boat the windows will need some looking at as a minimum. So about £1000 for parts, the cost of a lift in and out to sort the leg. Thats assuming all your own labour.......

Yes thank you Ian-its a lovely boat that just needs some work and it is still floating and ready to cruise with alot of attributes. Could be worth alot more within a few months. I have a marine/deisel engineer that wants it so watch this space for a transformation. Shame I cant send pictures yet but I will with before and after in due course.
