I am sure somewhere on the site I heard mention of someone making the Norman badges, is this so and can anyone help with who it was and if they still make them?

I've been keeping quiet on this one.......
However a couple of weeks ago I spent a Friday traveling around the local & not so local foundries to no avail - Those who would try to run them wanted the most ridiculous prices !!!
But.... Thanks to Dad (Once again) We have managed to strike a deal with one of his contacts. Biggest problem for me is its a 2hr Drive to collect , so I will order in bigger amounts.
Anyhow - Hopefully they will be ok (Dad has passed his knowledge on getting them cast) & I will be in receipt of quite a few pairs soon.
Worst side will be that they will be a little more expensive than when Dad made em a few yrs ago. Price has not actually been finalised (Depending on how well they run) but we believe they will come out at £25 a pair (This will include a donation to Trev for the site - As I cant fob him off with badges for Bona Dea now he has a real boat!)
I do still have some of the Mk1/2 badges that fit on the Bow , plus the patterns for both these & the Shield on the 32 if any is interested in anything other than the Knight & lance.
Watch this apace !!

Collected the first delivery of badges today.
They do require some further fettling to remove the sharp edges of the cast , but will be available very soon !!!
Not sure what the P&P will be as not posted any for around 2 yrs 
Will post a piccy as soon as I have some fettled up

Any chance you could post a picture of the badges?
I'm looking for (hoping to buy)ideally the type with the Knight followed by the name Norman in a chrome and painted casting.
The cost of boating is insignificant compared to costs of a young wife and two teenage kids! |

| If you want me to put up any sort of email order form Adi let me know. Don't worry about donations to the site on this occasion. Try and keep the badges as cheap as you can without being out of pocket of course! |
