Posted - 25 Aug 2020 : 12:39:01 Hi all, Having been caught out by Ethanol, and currently stripping down the carb, I'm stabilizing my fuel from now on. Damn lockdown. Anyway, I'm thinking of starting the outboard, disconnecting the fuel line, and letting the engine run out of fuel before winter storage. Is this a bad idea or good? Not sure? I'm also fitting a fuel/water separator, hopefully to catch any moisture before reaching the carb in future. Will be grateful for any advise. Regards Dave F #9785;#65039;
