Anyone any idea what model this might be? I had thoughts along the lines of a Buckingham but I doubt it.

Whilst I agree with Clive's comments, I think the angle of the photo and the dark hull exaggerate the effect to some extent.

...... and it was designed and built in Yorkshire.

i have to say that it doesn't look too bad in the Facebook photo Fred but your broads pic does show the builder's attempt to gain headroom by raising the cabin instead of the hull like Norman did so successfully. And all in spite of being built in Yorkshire. Well done mate!

A tiny bell has just jingled in the back of my mind! Didn't we once have someone who started with a Norman 18 or 20 and "lifted" the cabin roof to increase headroom?? Looking closer if you think "lower the roof"! Its not that far away!

No idea. Had it been even half-way pretty I'd probably have remembered it, I have seen one but I would have simply looked past it .

Anyone who designs such an ugly boat where the super-structure is deeper than the hull should be put aboard it and given a Viking funeral.

No idea whose name is attached to that Trevor nor if the "builder" made any other plastic eyesores.

Sorry - it just looks all wrong! Don't know if Fred has any ideas?
