A tiny bell has just jingled in the back of my mind! Didn't we once have someone who started with a Norman 18 or 20 and "lifted" the cabin roof to increase headroom?? Looking closer if you think "lower the roof"! Its not that far away!
Whilst I agree with Clive's comments, I think the angle of the photo and the dark hull exaggerate the effect to some extent.
...... and it was designed and built in Yorkshire.
i have to say that it doesn't look too bad in the Facebook photo Fred but your broads pic does show the builder's attempt to gain headroom by raising the cabin instead of the hull like Norman did so successfully. And all in spite of being built in Yorkshire. Well done mate!
