Posted - 06 Mar 2019 : 15:25:47 I used Davids or Isopon gelcoat filler and sanded then painted with any shade of white. However, after a time collecting loads of scratches from mooring and narrow locks,I gave up with the sanding and painting and simply used gelcoat filler, getting it as smooth as possible with the spatula, and leaving as is. The reason being, with my driving, and collecting loads of scratches,I would be sanding and painting every weekend. Any scratches on the hull were difficult to see anyway,(Norman 20) without crouching down on the towpath. |

Even individual models are various shades of white/cream sort of colours. The only suggestion I can make is to get some gel coat tint and experiment with small amounts. Of course superior wisdom to my own may yet to appear on this thread! |
