Posted - 02 Dec 2014 : 19:50:55 When trailering your boats around do you guys leave the canopies up or do you remove them?
Also do you leave the light boards attached to the trailer when launching or do you remove them each time, are they waterproof?
Sorry for the daft questions but I've not towed mine since I had the canopy fitted and I've also not launched it before. |

Posted - 03 Dec 2014 : 18:03:22 Canopy off when on the road. They are not designed to stay up at 50 mph!! Even more from buffeting trucks.
Lighting board very certainly off when launching. Note - when buying a light board, ensure the cable is long enough to go all the way to the back of the boat. Most won't.

Posted - 03 Dec 2014 : 15:53:47 I used to leave mine up, mind I was only going 3-4 miles to launch. Remove the trailer board I would say. Wouldn't want it under water also when I had my trailer it would have got in the way of the boat keel. |

Posted - 02 Dec 2014 : 20:05:34 A canopy will probably nor fair well at road speeds, remove canopy and anything loose from cockpit, place all loose stuff in the cabin including fenders, drain water tanks too.
