Posted - 13 Nov 2013 : 07:43:08 Hi Happy Chef,
I have been using disposable ones from pound land, my thought was, as I am an old skinflint, just to empty them when full and dry out the crystals.
I put 4 in and they fill up every 3 months or so, I haven't blocked the vents and surprisingly dry as a bone, what I have also done is to make up covers for the exterior of the two side windows to stop rain getting in which seems to be the main cause of damp!!
Cheers Chris

Posted - 07 Nov 2013 : 23:01:52 I can't recommend one specifically, but a good plan is to block all vents so you don't end up dehumidifying the whole neighbourhood. This makes it far more effective and costs less to run.
