Off to Stoke Bruerne for a few days. CanalPlanAC reckons on 9 days.
I bet Adi has something to say about that!!!!
Still I will be going gently and relaxing.
I might even open both lockgates as long as Chez isn't looking.hehehe
I'll try and remember to take some pictures and put them up when we get back.

Stoke Bruene.......
Now then (AHHHH Did I say that  ) Based on yr Sawley & back to Zouch you do cruise a bit.
So... Thinking back.....
Day 1 - Kilby Bridge (Preferable minimum & what most do from Leic)
Day 2 - Bottom of Foxton or maybe topside if you get lucky on arrival.
Day 3 - Top of Watford (Easy no locks)
Day 4 - Thru Blisworth & pretty much there !!!!
IIRC - We made Stoke in 3 Days 1st to Kilby, then a early one with a late finish that put us at the top of the Watford flight !
9 days return isnt that slow John !

Have a good trip 
I find Canal plan ac is quite generous on times, we did a trip up the Avon to Tewkesbury the weekend and it said 9 hours 30 mins for the 26 miles, we got there in 7 hours with all seven locks not in our favour.
Man cutting the grass at Wyre marina did shout at us to slow down ....or words to that effect |
