Hi all,
My rubber rubbing strake strip which goes all the way along the top of the hull of the boat is about two inches thick from top to bottom. There is a one inch cut at the front from the top which has formed a v shape. Is there any way I can repair the cut without having to replace the whole strip?

Did mine (After a clought with the old guillotine gate exiting the Stratford cut - Too busy photographing!) with ADHESEAL (Innotec?)_again a black mastic (Car body adhesive I believe) not cheap at £15-20 a tube (Mastic gun) but one hell of a material - Have bonded things with this that may never move again !!

Sikaflex would do it and is available in black but its not cheap. It would be my choice.

There is a glue called serious glue by evo-stick. It sets like a hard silicon I have not used it yet bit my neighbor swears by it. It bonds most things including rubber |
