I am sure somewhere on the site I heard mention of someone making the Norman badges, is this so and can anyone help with who it was and if they still make them?
Thanks

I'm now getting to saturation point with folks wanting badges - I do have plenty left (Unfettled at present)& can always get some more made so supply should not be a problem !

However with the various forum topics / posts (Plus the fact my list is now it a state of pending madness with some folks not replying I think I may have to abandon the first posted first served idea that I have been running with)

I obviously don't want to upset or gazump anyone down the list , but feel it would be a good idea for anyone who wants badges to drop me a email - that way I can deal with them in a more orderly fashion (Hopefully)

Please be patient with me folks - I think I have around 20 pairs left at the moment , with about 4-5 pairs at Dads ready to pick up.

I have a lot of unanswered mails that lead me to believe that some of the forum email addresses are maybe 'second mail' addresses - I guess that I will have to ignore unanswered ones for now & move on down !

My mail is as per the one on the forum - pls send me yr requirements , (Trevor did offer a order form but I dont want to add this to his commitments to the website especially as he refuses to take a donation to the site.)

I look forward to the incoming mail madness.......... (It will give me an excuse to stop decorating ! )

Interesting! I had a sort of "gut" feeling they were gold with red, didn't remember the blue. They're in my workshop at present as I'm going to buff them up nice and shiny, so I think I'll spray them gold first, pick out the letters in blue, and the chain mail in red. Then I'll lacquer them. They should look perfect!

Ok folks

Just been making a list from this Topic post & the previous one. Looks like I have just enough to cover potential orders.

I have a few sets to go now & will try to do on a first asked first gets basis & will email as they become available so check inboxs !

Dont be disappointed if you dont hear immediately I will get to you - Please let me know by return mail if you still require the badges as I will then pass your order on to the next person in line.

If your registered e-mail on the forum is incorrect I wont be able to contact you so let me know if thats the case !!

I just left mine with the aluminium finish.
I think they look better and they look nicely aged after a couple of seasons.

Bloody brilliant mate!

What we also need to have is a picture of how they should look painted, i.e. a picture of an original by Norman so we can paint to match as I doubt you'll want to sit there with your little brush colouring them all in! My memory is not so good but I seem to remember red and silver?

There they are..... !

Please take into account that these are cast from patterns cast from a 20 yr old badge supplied to Dad a few yrs ago.

I'm not putting down the quality - Not had a complaint yet , but I would say that there is slightly less detail in the Knight than Originals, & of course they are not as shiny, but they are thicker & less likely to break as they are cast not pressed.

Will call Dad tommorow & sort out delivery times - We can then take orders !

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Normal service on Badges - Poor old Dad is the Weakest Link !!

He's been painting his sewer tube & has not been fettling !

Met 'Johnglenys' today down our yrd , who is also keen to get his badges.

I've been glassing my Transom today (Happy with results) so will try & sort them out tomorrow.

Got 2 pairs at home ready - will photo in morning & post a pic
