Hi my son has recently purchased a Norman 17 . We are both boating novices. Can someone explain the functions the switches perform on the panel? Or has someone got a manual which shows what each does ?

There's no such thing as a manual unfortunately, the only real option is trial and error or following wires.
I can't imagine a bilge blower being fitted on an outboard powered boat though, that's normally an inboard engine thing.

Hi Thanks for reply. I assume the bilge pump is for evacuating water in the boat ? It has an outboard engine as you say. What is a bilge blower ?

A bilge blower is an extractor fan for any gas/vapours built up in the bottom of the boat, a requirement for inboard petrol engines.
The bilge is the area in the bottom of the boat so a bilge pump does exactly that, it shifts any water built up down there and spits it over the side(usually rainwater from leaks on outboard powered boats).
The labels on the panel may be from a previous boat it was robbed from.
