Redesigned rear cabin layout.
Just a quick update to my my Norman 32'
Sweet Briar, since I last registered it with the site, I have:
Engine: fitted new piston rings, main bearings, flexible mounts & coupling,
water pump, jabsco impellor, new filters, diesel pipe work. Runs like a dream
and due to new enamelling in light blue looks great as well.
Enfield Z drive: fully rebuilt by third party and repainted, new rudder
extension in process of being fitted, transom plate has been fitted and leg will
be fitted imminently.
Hull: upper structure repainted, hull currently stripped to gel coat and in
process of repairing and eternal sanding Etc. New Maranti rubbing strakes
ordered to match original shape. Marina quoted me £220 for 100' a local farm
wood yard charged me £40 for the wood and £10 shaping, great deal!
I have also relocated the original engine bay vents from the inside rear deck
well to the stern facing backwards. This was done to limit the amount of noise
caused by the engine when running.
