Ok, had a lovely 75th, hot cuddles from an even hotter loving young wife starting the day, and a loving family gathering and really nice foods UK style.
Only thing missing was my Moonraker 36, I feel rejected! You all forgot me! Another Covid-19 casualty?
Anyway, to show true magnanimity I forgive you all and trust you all had the best time possible under current restrictions.
No longer boasting here as migrant workers from Myanmar have brought in a 2nd wave and we are facing restrictions imposed by "Dear Leader No.2" so Covid seems let loose once more.
Still, look on the bright side, Boris has brought in this magnificent Brexit "Deal" at the 11th hour so you can still buy fish (from the French) and chips (from Irish potatoes) so it isn't all bad, and the deliveries of Brussels Sprouts will eventually clear Calais and Dover ports and find their way into your greengrocers even if they are a tad yellow by then.
That of course is if parliamentary rebels don't kill the deal stone dead like before on this side of the ditch and the frogs plus 25 other continental buffoons etc don't ditch it their side.
And as for our own home-grown supermarket-trolley-and-fertiliser-bag-filled ditches, they'll (mostly) still be there after the current lock-down and the Norman ditch-crawling will resume in muddy splendour.
What can we say but wish us one and all that impossible dream, (no, not Liverpool winning the cup!) - a Happy New Year.
(A Moonraker 36 would have been nice tho'!)
Finally living the dream!

I've had my mother for xmas, well it was cheaper than a turkey but a bit tough..... It was touch and go as I looked out xmas eve morning to see the road flooded and half my neighbours also flooded, I got a shed full but nothing in the house, just hoping storm bella don't bring too much rain tonight. Merru humbug everyone and a belated hbd to Clive.

Well, I suppose one could stretch a point and say I'm "down South" but my South is mostly East and a good 6000 miles from your North!
Finally living the dream!
