Got Norman 23 ‘ cruiser.. 1975 with a “special edition” 25 HP outboard.. erm could you tell me if this boat is a collectors piece or just another 23” please.

I don't think ANY Norman would be a collector's piece to be auctioned for a fortune in Sothebys. I'd say a standard Norman probably many times updated/modified in little ways by previous owners.

It's just another 23, I would guess the outboard is special edition because someone had a special edition sticker.

Just tell him ALL boats are special when they are cherished and used to the fullest extent possible. This looks a nice example which will have given its owners much pleasure over nearly five decades and can continue to do so for many more years.

Checking the Norman range on here,it looks like a 22 mk 4.
It looks like a nice boat and will probably be good for years yet.
