I know we have a few owners of 32's on here. Any able to say what the draft is with an inboard/outdrive combination?? Someone has been told that the draft is too deep for the Ribble Link! I can't see that!
My friend Wayne, I already told him around 3 feet 900 mm dependent on how much weight he carries. But the boat is internally gutted I believe from the pic he posted so if he were to heavily ballast the bow section to push it down it might in the nature of things raise the stern a fair bit. That would help but also another poster has pointed out that narrow boats trundle up and down the Ribble link all the time.
My 32 is 2ft 3in to the tip of the Sceg. I broke my prop on the Brec and Mon canal. The problem is the canals are not dredged. The canal and river trust is all top show. The locks look tidy and the tow paths for walkers and cyclists who don't pay any thing to the canals. Under the surface of the water no one cares.
