The only way you might possibly find out is to look right up inside the bows of the boat under any trim or padding. There should be a series of handwritten figures and numbers. See if they are there and we should be able to interpret then for you.

If this is for insurance purposes post a picture - you have to put them on Photobucket.com or Postimage.org (both free) to get the image code for the forum. I suggest Postimage.org, upload image, then select the share icon, choose hotlink for forums, then copy and paste ONLY that part of the code that starts with a square bracket followed by img and ends with img and the other square bracket.

So you paste this sort of thing

(img]https://XXX.postimg.XXX/jzt7ge5ir/DSC03222.jpg[/img) I've corrupted the code so it won't try and link to anything by changing some of the code to XX and also the end brackets to the curved ones.

Then the brains on here can give you a date to satisfy your insurance company who are probably well aware that it might be a trifle, shall we say, guestimated? Of course, tell them the name too and it might already have all the data on Jim Shead's list.

Or check for yourself here: http://www.jim-shead.com/waterways/boats.php

If it's for insurance purposes I'm sure someone will correct me but I think the last 23's were built around 1980 so it's at least 37 years old. 30 years old seems to be the magic point here many insurance companies start asking for a hull survey.
