All striped down atm to replace bearings n seals Build really well tbh ! Think i found the make a muncie gear works or a viking drive unit ( similar to there tractor drive
One poped up on ebay a month or so back for 2.5 k !!
Yep got the complete setup stern plat very simply tbh
Big hole for shaft , 2 pivot/lift pins and a t section to hold the drive unit down Also steering cable tho outer cover damaged All steering rods n chains ( will be to short for norman tho ) Its american apparently rated to 90 hp Would love to find more info tho
Watch that hp rating as enfield 130 legs are rated as 130hp but when you look into it the proper rating is a torque figure that is nearer 90hp when you put it on a diesel engine at similar rpm, the 130hp figure was for a petrol engine setup (odd as enfields were designed by perkins to sell diesel engines), the yanks have never been lovers of diesel so will very likely be a similar scenario with a lower starting figure. Probably never be an issue on rivers but if you take it where you can push it harder it may throw up some problems and I doubt spares are easy to get.
Cant find any spairs ! But came to the conculsion all bearing n seals new the other bits could be made
Cant geta nother drive as havent the money atm just tring to sort the windows to get it drying out inside the get the engine ect in the bss done to get to chelmer ( boat in wakering atm so a short ish run on tidal )
