I stumbled across this advert, and thought about buying it myself but it's too far away and I can't afford the transportation cost. And with a house self renovation and a Norman 23 rebuild on my hands I'm probably best leaving it well alone lol.

Just wondered if anyone else would be interested. 24ft norman cruiser project no trailer currently moored on gloucester canal
£700
Gloucester
Inboard ford crossflow 1.6 turns over but no start .. Just needs tlc as its an old boat .. and sadly I am now unable to afford licencing etc and so must sell .Inbox for details or pics . It looks like it would be worth 700 quid of anyones money!

An early 23 with home-made replacement windows and comes complete with zombie dog.

That inboard engine was a really good lump, usually coupled to an Enfield stern drive. I had that same engine/Enfield in a Norman 20 I used as a ferry boat to and from the Isle of Wight where my parents lived. Did approx 30 knots on the plane and behaved impeccably regardless of weather. Boat brand new, hacked the transomn well out of it about 3 weeks after it was delivered, moulded it it and added bearers and fitted the brand new inboard engine/outdrive.

I wish I still had that boat!

Finally living the dream!

Hi Andy (and Jo), did you buy that one?
If not do you know if it's still for sale?
Interested,
Jud.

Hi Jud. Not sure to be honest, It was a Facebook post.
Here is a link to the seller. Worth giving them a nudge if you're in the market for one. I'd have snapped this one up as it looks in better nick than mine! x
