Hi All,

At some point last year someone posted a link to a marine painting guide. I thought I took a copy of it but I can't find it anywhere. I've searched the forum and come up blank.

Anyone remember it and have a link? If I remember correctly it was a large PDF file with everything you need to know about painting a boat.

Many thanks

when you have found the paint you want take a print of the spec and look at the Jotun paint web site.
I am in the process of sealing the hull on my boat after grinding out lots of blisters and having a new keel installed and was told to use 2 pack epoxy made by international, 4 coats at £90 for 2.5 ltrs seemed very expensive and just by chance I found an article on a sailing boat site that mentioned Jotun and they do the same spec for £38 per gallon. they might just make the paint you want but it is industrial rather than for boating (+££££££)
