Hi all,am going to insulate my norman 23,make it bit more cosy in winter,would anyone be able to suggest what would be the best insulation to use,thanks

It depends where you are going to put it. I used 25mm polystyrene but 25mm king span (selatex) has twice the insulation quality but twice the price.

Hi,

I've fully insulated my boat with Armaflex closed cell foam and carpeted on top with proper lining carpet from Van Mats which is suitable for marine applications. At £20+ per 2x0.5m sheet with the sticky back it was bloody expensive. You will not regret it. It's made a massive difference.

The Armaflex sheets are available on eBay or from a company called ryan air conditioning in Manchester.

The Armaflex is completely rot proof, won't soak any water or form mould and is also sound proof
