I am looking to replace the rubber fendering that runs around the top of the side of the boat. The fendering is a rubber D profile from Wilks but I am looking to replace with something that looks better. When i replaced the fendering over 10 years ago I found that as you screwed it in to the boat it 'pinched' so you did not end up with a completely straight profile.
Anyone got any suggestions? I have looked at Wilks aluminium profile with pvc insert but not sure it is flexible enough to run all the way around the boat.
We have just done the strip around the gunalls on our 23 with white plastic with a blue filler and it was easy to fit and I recon it looks good.it cost about £140 from an ebay company called walker rubber plastics ltd the end caps were about £10 each
