Had this from the editor today. Anyone interested? Maybe John and Glenys??

I'm writing from new FREE digital magazine Motorboat Owner.

We are looking for boats with interesting stories for our 'My Boat' section. Boats that have been lavished by their owners, extensively renovated or rescued. We would ask that any potential boats would need images to document the work being carried out, showing the progression start to finish. Perhaps there are some ongoing projects that we could come and have a look at?
On your website boats like Snapdragon and Mac2 Happy Wanderer look like very successful projects. If the owners still have their boats it would be wonderful to get in touch with them.

If you have any ideas please do not hesitate to contact me

With best wishes

Claire

I am pleased to say that I have been contacted by the magazine and following emails and telephone conversations a visit has been arranged to see myself and my boat (N20) Sylk Lady on 6th December.

Hopefully this will be a great incentive to all those who are thinking about their next/first project, and encourage people to 'have a go'.
I had 'winterised' the boat and removed the furnishings, battery and outboard for servicing, so this weekend i'll be putting it all back in. Should be worth it though !

It sounds like they plan a spread over a couple of pages and they want to know how I became interested in the project etc etc, so hopefully we can make it interesting reading for when the magazine is issued. I have about 160 photo's for them to select from so they wont be short of material.... I'll keep you all posted.

Nice one! I trust you are feeling suitably smug, it would be rude not to.

Well, after a few hours in the company of Neale from the magazine, he finally brought it to print.
See page 11-18 for the article on my N20 Sylk Lady
Hopefully the following link will get you there.
