hello everyone, its been a long time since i posted on here ! good to see the site is still going strong
reading the forum it seems the for sale page cant be updated? i emailed about selling a boat on here a few months back and didnt get a reply.. sorry in advance if its not permitted to post a for sale here
my little norman 20 needs a good home.. its in the water and has been rather neglected for the last few years.. if anyones interested in a non too difficult winter project then please let me know :D
i wont be expecting alot of money for the boat, and it wont take much to get her going again, i plan to get the outboard up and running over the next week or so.. the exterior is all intact and could do with a really good clean.. the interior has gotten wet but is still serviceable as i fitted the boat out to take some weather !
before putting it on ebay and the like i thought it would be worth while checking on here to see if anyones interested
the boats currently moored in newark.. its safety cert has just expired as has its river licence
please reply to this thread if im not doing this right or if your interested in the boat !
mrog put some pictures up of your boat may well sell on here I could be interested myself something to do up over the winter, im off to look at a freeman 23/25 at the weekend that's been sat a while owners unsure of exact size.
been at the old girl, shes fast becoming a going concern again !.. the exterior is only in need of some paint on the rubbing strakes.. the cockpits still good.. just some flaking paint to the woodwork.. woodwork all still good no rot and such :)
got the outboard fired up and its running as good as when i rebuilt it 10 years ago
all in all its fast becoming something ill likely keep.. lol
well see how finances are over the next month, have a car up for sale that should fetch about £2800.. so that could easily provide the monies for the river licence and such that ill need if im keeping the old girl

if anyones intrested its a boat that was featured 10 years ago on this site as an example of a norman 20.. id just rebuilt the boat from the ground up at the time.. but that was 10 years ago !
